New Crown Special Edition Study forming for the Fall!

Did you know that the Bible contains 2,350 verses dealing with money?  Most Christians have been taught only how to give.  Although this is crucial, they do not understand the Lord’s perspective of managing the rest of their resources.  In this study you will be encouraged and challenged as you learn what Scripture teaches about the handling of all your possessions.

The Special Edition of the Crown Financial Ministries study is designed specifically for those entrusted with wealth or significant income.  It will address issues such as:

• How much is enough?

• How much do I leave my children?

• How can I most effectively train my children to handle money?

• How does the Lord want me to invest my time for the rest of my life?

• How much should I give?

• Does my spouse understand our finances?  Is he or she prepared to handle my business and finances in the event of my death?

We are starting two new groups - one in Lexington, KY on Tuesday nights starting September 14th and one in Lancaster, KY on Thursday nights starting September 23rd.

Kingdom Advisors

If you are a financial advisor, accountant, attorney, insurance agent, real estate agent, devolopment officer, or anyone who provides advice to individuals on how to use their resources, let Kingdom Advisors be a blessing to you.  The mission of Kingdom Advisors is to help Christian professional advisors become passionate about experiencing purpose in their work and to equip them to draw upon biblical wisdom when counseling their clients.

The Bluegrass Kingdom Advisors group meets monthly for lunch, fellowship, teaching, and discussion.  There are two meeting location/date options that advisors can attend:

The South Lexington group meets from noon to 1:30 pm on the Third Friday of every month.  (Fall meeting dates: September 17th, October 15th, and November 19th)

The Downtown Lexington group meets from noon to 1:30 pm on the Last Wednesday of every month.  (Fall meeting dates: September 29th, October 27th, and November 24th)

You are welcome to come to either location.  The format and that month’s lesson are the same at each location.  Lunch is free for first-time guests.

Affiliated International Ministries

If you live in Kentucky, you are no doubt aware that this fall our state has the honor of hosting a major world event. In September and October, the world will be coming to the Bluegrass region for the World Equestrian Games. KCF is partnering with a ministry called Affiliated International Ministries (AIM) that is doing evangelical outreach during the games. AIM is coordinating an outreach effort of churches and ministries working together to make a positive impact for Christ, before, during and after the World Equestrian Games. If you are interested in getting involved, AIM still needs many more volunteers and financial contributions in order to accomplish this Kingdom building work. If you would like to learn more about AIM, please give us a call or visit www.aimky.org.
